October is here and now we are in the final 3 months of 2026. This month will give us the opportunity to do some inner work with multiple retrogrades including Venus and Mercury. And we’re in Libra season where we look at all of our relationships and consider balance, fairness, and where we give and receive. If you thought September was a tough month, October may be a little easier, depending on what you did last month. September was a month for taking aligned action, allowing endings so beginnings could be possible, and mastering your manifestation skills. You will need them in October. We did a lot of multi-dimensional energy work last month and that will continue this month so be prepared.
October means cooler weather, the start of the holiday season, and the last part of the year. It is a 10 month in a 1 year so we have an 11 vibe this month, which always brings a special energy.
11 is the number of spiritual initiation, the beginning of a spiritual journey but this is not a re-start of everything we have done before . We are not erasing everything that has happened and starting at a blank beginning. It is the first steps on a new spiritual path that is now open to us. Are we ready? Now this is not a promise of joy and abundance, it is a promise of lessons, learning, and choices. Don’t confuse the two or you may be disappointed!
A spiritual initiation is an invitation to move into another level of awareness, responsibility, choice, and self-mastery. It is a new level of self-awareness which begins with a realization of a truth that makes the old path irrelevant and unsustainable. It does not come with a promise that everything will suddenly become easy, joyful, and abundant. We have clarity and from that we get to make new choices.
This is something I first wrote about in 2004 and I described it as the Path of Spiritual Initiation and its five stages: Birth, Trial, Lesson, Enlightenment, and After Enlightenment.
